The Head of the Orthodox Church in Poland - Metropolitan of Warsaw and all Poland, His Eminence, Greatly Blessed Sawa sent 16th November, 2009 , the congratulation letter to the founder of Karate Tsunami soke Richard Murat 10 dan.
This letter is the unique writing thanks and blessing from that famous Metropolitan.
Orthodox Metropolitan of Warsaw and all Poland, His Eminence Highly Blessed Sawa wrote in the letter about the well-known Karate Tsunami master shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan:
"His achievements enjoy us greatly, as you Mr. President and the environment that you represent. Indeed, Mr. Vladimir Parfieniuk serves as a great model for young people. For the Orthodox environment he is joy and inspiration. God bless him."
In turn, to the President of the Federation, soke Richard Murat 10 dan His Eminence Highly Blessed Sawa said in the following words:

In this connection it should explained, that shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan is a representative of the Belarusian minority in Poland and the follower of the Orthodox Church.
As an interesting side note one should know, that shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan at every occasion, especially during great sports events: festivals of martial arts (he participated in a lot of them) and also during instructors’ training camps in Poland and in other countries emphasizes clearly that he is a believer of the Orthodox Church and he underlines his exceptional pride for this reason.
According to this the great amazement and at the same time respect he arouses particularly in Roman Catholic countries, as Italy and Spain, where he runs a lot of Tsunami trainings and meetings.
The Fifth Polish Karate Tsunami Championship in Łowicz in Poland 14-15 November 2009.
As a symbolic gesture and the official indication that in Tsunami Karate environment there
is no religious discords, just the opposite, the fallowing event took place, handing to Vice-President
of our Federation Karate Tsunami Renmei shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan, who is the proud follower
of the Orthodox Church, a copy of one of famous icons from the holy Mount Athos in Greece, founded soke Richard Murat 10 dan (Warsaw), and it was given by the chaplain of the Polish Championships
the Roman-Catholic priest father Gregory Badziąg OFMCap. (the Capuchin order) 4 dan,
from Krosno (Podkarpackie region), Poland.

Shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan from Hajnówka (Podlasie region, Poland), but graduated from several faculties (linguistic and connected with logistics ones) at the most renowned universities of the capital of Poland: Warsaw University and Warsaw School of Economics and works as a manager in international companies. For the reason, he divides his time in different places, often moving at considerable distances. Recently, often stays both present in Warsaw, as well as in Zurich (Switzerland), Bologna (Italy), not forgetting his home town - Hajnówka (Podlasie region, Poland), where he returns in every free moment. He speaks fluently five languages.
Abilities and long-standing practice Karate Tsunami under the direction of soke Richard Murat 10 dan resulted in taking by Vladimir Parfieniuk the high masterly degree 7 dan and the title shihan (“the great master’’).
His is very well known Karate Tsunami master, friend and the closest co-worker of soke Richard Murat 10 dan and with his authorization as Vice-President Federation Tsunami Renmei coordinates tsunami development in many countries on different continents.
Successfully he takes up in contacts with multicultural communities interested in Karate Tsunami: Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Muslim and Jewish.

Lately, Shihan Vladimir Parfieniuk 7 dan has been coordinating the development of Tsunami in one of the most Muslim countries in the world: Iran. We wrote about it in two articles:
